WHAT STAYS BEHIND THE DOOR
Some pages are unfinished, some contain working notes, and some make sense only with the story beside them. A password means the room is still being used—not that the reader has failed a test.

A dossier follows one person, place, object, or creature. A case file keeps the sequence, evidence, and unanswered questions together. A field note is smaller: what Ink saw, what Rot touched, and what changed before they left.
